A tough walk up from Hayfield to Kinder Scout. The route passed Kinder Reservoir, Kinder Downfall returning via Kinder Low Trig point and for those Trig baggers out there a slight detour to Brown Knoll.
We took this walk-on in early December, snow still at high levels and near-zero visibility at the top.
Competent map reading is a must for this route if the weather turns!
